Back in coimbra, waiting waiting waiting is all I do.
I have to wait to get a student number, to be able to use internet, to be able to look at the timetables for the master studies. First step already goes wrong because the international office hasn't processed my entrance yet. Then I was trying to go to the coordinator to talk about the courses I could take, also abscent. Then I have the fantastic luck to see my professor also be abscent, so I can't even ask him which book I might read as preparation to my project. All of this I am doing without certainty that I will study here. I am nuts to try, everybody sends me from one place to another, nobody knows what I should do. Well I don't blame them, I don't know either ; ) But I don't understand how they expect me to study here. If I follow those master courses, I will not only have to be here late at night, because the courses are made for working class people who study after work, but I might even have classes in the weekend. And now for the final topping, I might not have christmas holidays! I really dislike the way things go here.
I have an appointment with the coordinator of the IST in Lisbonne tomorrow, little problematic now that I am in Coimbra...
I didn't imagine that my adventures would be this bureaucratic, I had jungles and lions in mind...
see you soon
